The show becomes a highlight of the tour for several reasons. The concert is broadcast to the home of MTV contest winner John Harris in England. MTV crews at John's house also beam footage of John and his girlfriend back to the Stockholm concert, resulting in Bono and John having several conversations throughout the show.
At the end of "The Fly," the rapid rolling text ends with: "BE AT SELLAFIELD. 11AM. JUNE 20th." Promoting a Greenpeace protest that U2 will participate in at the Sellafield nuclear power plant.
Bono pulls a fan on stage during "Trying To Throw Your Arms Around The World" to dance with then help run the video camera.
ABBA's Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson join the band on-stage for "Dancing Queen."
Bono recites or snippets something over the end of "Streets," which can't be made out.
At the end of the main set, after Bono has left the stage, The Edge sings the last full verse of "Stand By Me."
Later, Bono alters the "Shine Like Stars" coda to:
We'll shine like stars in the midnight sun...
Bono pulls another fan out of the crowd to dance with at the end of "Love Is Blindness."
