I'm just back from the U2 concert in Amsterdam and what an incredible, amazing rockin' show !!
U2 came on stage around 21:50 and kicked off with Vertigo. What a great atmosphere ! The crowd was energetic and really into the show, fanatic and loud. The performance of the band was incredible, I was really blown away !! I've read also a lot of complains about the acoustic but it was really perfect !! Bono was in a great shape and his voice was good.
Highlights were Out Of Control, City Of Blinding Lights, Sometimes You Can’t Make It On Your Own, Pride (In the Name Of Love), Where The Streets Have No Name, Zoo Station, With Or Without You and Vertigo.
Special dedications tonight were for Theo van Gogh, the victims of the recent bombings in London and Miracle Drug was dedicated the all the doctors and nurses. The setlist was great but unfortunately no surprises (like Bad) and ofcourse the visuals and lights were really amazing and I think I don't have to say more about it.
This was one of the best concerts I've ever seen !! I wish I could go again tomorrow night but next tour I will be there again.
