It's been awhile since I've posted a review but I thought I'd give my two cents on the Baltimore show; my hometown; needless to say, I was thrilled to see my boys were playing just a block away from my office. This show was my 24th U2 show of all time and my 11th on this tour and I would put it among my top 3 of all time. The Baltimore show was a little different; the vibe was different. I felt as if U2 was on a mission; heal the world-or at least Baltimore. Everything they played was extremely tight; Bono's voice was probably the best that I've ever heard. The band didn't seem that happy or playful which I found out was due to an anthrax scare in Bono's daughters' school. The fact that they still played showed a lot of courage. But again, it was a different kind of show; they aimed to move us; not just go through another set list. "One" was especially emotional tonight while name of passengers of hijacked flights scrolled on the backdrop screens. "One" usually brings me close to tears but tonight it pushed me over the edge. I'm posting this review exactly a week after the concert and I'm still glowing thinking about how wonderful a night U2's first show in Baltimore prooved to be.
