It felt electric. All shows by this dynamic band do, but there was something in the air this night. One was a highlight for me, sent chills up my spine with the names of the victims of 9/11 scrolling up the screen and around the Frank Erwin Center. Wild Honey was excellent addition that was missed at the Dallas show in April.
Bono really seemed to be enjoying himself with this lively crowd that was worked up by the excelent opening band No Doubt. This was by far the LOUDEST U2 concert I have ever attended. It must have been because of the small venue, maybe they didn't compensate for the smallness and left the controls set for a normal sized arena? Nonetheless I did not complain (although it took 3 days for the ringing to stop). Good thing the ringing was to the tune of Elevation ;)
