Okay, this was the 18th show of U2 I've attended since the 'War' tour, and I must say it was the wordt I saw so far!
After the 'basic' War, Unforgettable Fire, Joshua Tree and Rattle & Hum tours I was so excited to see the ZOO & Popmart extravaganza... and now this!
Paying a 102,50 guilders for a show like this... I just felt ROBBED! Last time their excuse for the high pricing of the tickets was the fact that the show was expensive (lemon, arch etc.), what's their excuse this time with even more expensive tickets?
The sound was poor, the band looked tired, the news songs (except for Elevation & B.Day) are all too slow and the whole band has turned into a jukebox. A jukebox which is not playing a different song every time but the same songs over and over. I know they did that on the previous 2 tours as well, but at least then we had something to look at!
Thinking back of those other tours I think it's time to stop for the boys or to come up with something completely NEW and refreshing!
One other thing... some of the fans are sooooooo sad! U2 is a band not a living!!!
Like William Shatner said once on TV: GET A LIFE!
A very dissapointed U2 fan!
