U2 put on a powerful show that was energized by the city, the night, the garden, and of course the fans. For those of us lucky enough to get tickets, this Saturday night in NYC with U2 will not be forgotten!
Didn't want to sit in the rain for too long so we arrived at the MSG GA line at 6:30pm, were in the building by 7:00pm, and were on the floor just two people away from the ellipse at 7:20, not bad! We were bummed not to get inside the ellipse but as you will see in these pictures from just left of center and two rows outside of the ellipse, we really lucked out! My first set of pics are of U2 on the elipse, second set are of U2 on stage, third set are some pics of lucky fans.
Also, here is a full setlist:
City Of Blinding Lights, Vertigo / Glad To See You Go (snippet), Elevation, I Will Follow, All I Want Is You, Beautiful Day, Miracle Drug / People Have The Power (snippet), Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own / The Black Hills of Dakota (snippet), Love And Peace Or Else, Sunday Bloody Sunday, Bullet The Blue Sky / The Hands That Built America (snippet) / When Johnny Comes Marching Home (snippet), Miss Sarajevo, Pride (In The Name Of Love), Where The Streets Have No Name, One (with Mary J. Blige)
Encores: The First Time, Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses, With Or Without You, All Because Of You, Fast Cars, Original Of The Species, 40
Notes: I Will Follow last played 1st night of this leg. All I Want 1st time Stateside this tour.
Happy Columbus Day!
