Of course I love the show simply because they are U2 and also I was in the front row inside the ellipse right in front of Edge (Best Seats I have had ever). They played OK and the songs were OK...I am not complaining but I am just saying compared to seeing them in Chicago the 1st leg of the tour...this show was not that great.
Do not get me wrong I LIKE the songs they played for the encore but thats just it..I liked them not loved them like the Chicago show. The ranting from Bono did slow the show down and they show rocked till the last 6 songs. Come on in Chicago they opened the encore up with Zoo Station, The Fly, and other high tempo high excitement and great concert songs. As I said before nothing against the song they chose...but just not as good as what they could have played.
Well worth going to the show and I met a lot of great people (first time at a U2 show in DC).
