What an experience!What emotions!What a band!
Yes you`ve guessed it i`ve been Elevated!!I was one of the lucky ones to get inside the HEART!Absolutely AWESOME lots of room to walk about,no pushing ,no one blocking your view,I stood at the Tip of the Heart and when Sgt Peppers-Beatles had died down i knew this was the moment...
House lights still up, here they came just strolled onto the stage what a entrance!
Highlights of the show:The three opening songs really kicked. Every other band would save these sort of songs for an encore but not u2, they had plenty more "in the bag"
Bono and Edge a foot a away from me playing the "Matador and Bull" on Until the End of the World.
Kite was dedicated to Bono`s Dad who`s gravely ill It was a very emotional moment and what a Fantastic performance of the song.
Sunday Bloody Sunday `87 was the last time i heard this song, full on version.
Bono Introducing the band and all 4 of them playing Desire right in front of me at the tip of the Heart, i could see their interaction between each other as they played
their looks at each other, nods, winks, smiles it was great to see.
Bad was the show stopper for me it`s my fav song of all time this was a full on version Bono really goin for it on the "Wide Awake"
it`s a very emotional song for me and very personal to me too.
"streets" blending into Bad, that Red backdrop, house lights go up! it just doesn`t get any better than this Amazing.
The Fly great heavy version and what an ending Bono "Stuck like a Fly" onto a video screen!!
With or Without You had a bit of Love Will Tear Us Apart
One was fantastic sang extra verse (Can you hear me coming love...)
Wak on was very fitting way to end the show cos i wont be leaving the memory of this show behind!!
