ok, just got back its...hmm... very early in the morning, travelled over from Wales for this gig, the only word in my head right now.....WOW!
Amazing version of 'Kite', dedicated to Bob Hewson (Bono's Dad), who is very very ill
Bono calling him 'A Tough old f**ker'.
Bono dedicated 'One' to Noel Gallagher (of Oasis), who was apparently there.
Personal higlight for me for the night HAS to be BAD my personal favorite song by anyone anywhere, tears were rolling...very very emotional. When they played 'Streets' the whole place just erupted, everyone up on their feet, arms all over the place!!
Bono ran at full speed two laps of the heart.!
LOVED the version of 'The Fly', really sumthin else, with Bono running into the screen..excellent.
Ive seen U2 play a few times before, but I can honestly say ive never seen them quite as intense as they were tonight.
A big thank you to U2, and i'll see you in Birmingham.
