Despite the rain and cold (it was the height of the summer)I will never foget that day. My souvenir'LONGEST DAY T SHIRT' perished only in 2005. Apparantly the Radiohead boys were at the gig (in the audience) inspired for sure. I remember all the bands and REM hardly raised a cheer but they were unknown to us then. SOD were great, Kirk Brandons white hair was visible from the rim of the bowl through the rain.
