I have to say that I felt totally enlightened after seeing U2 perform at the Palace. Unfortunately, I had to contend with arrogant, insolent people behind me who insisted on talking very loudly to each other and shout obscenities during the music. One was even talking on a cell phone!
The music was moving, and incredibly inspiring; despite the morons that seemed to congregate in the row next to mine. U2's anthems of peace and anti-violence did seem lost upon a crowd too dense to thoroughly appreciate the profoundness of the music being played - which totally relates to my previous statement about the insolence that was so rudely displayed behind me.
