Awesome show! Thought it was on par with Pittsburgh. It seemed like the light curtains were not down as much as in the past. This was nice for the people directly behind the stage. Bono even spent a little time singing directly to the back sections. He didn't do this in Pittsburgh.
I was glad to hear Mysterious Ways. Original of the Species and Until the End of the World were highlights for me. The band seemed like they were having a good time. At one point, Bono and The Edge were chasing each other around the ellipse. Bono brought a female fan on stage during With or Without You. She was clearly enjoying her moment. Some references to the Beatles and John Lennon were made. Bono talked about being in Cleveland 25 years ago this week.
After the concert, the band bolted town without delay! Did anyone else see the U2 Vertigo Air Canada Airbus A320 Charter take off from Burke Lakefront Airport? They left the stage at 11:17 PM and the flight took off at 11:51 PM headed west for Chicago-Midway. By the time I saw the plane it was too late to grab the camera and snap a picture
