The spirit was in the house on a cold Saturday night in Cleveland as U2 paid homage to John Lennon with a stirring performance in the home of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In keeping with form over the past few weeks U2 played Instant Karma as part of the encore set and also paid tribute to John Lennon with a bit of ‘The Christmas Song’ inside ‘I still haven’t found what I’m looking for’ and an exceptional solo acoustic version of ‘Norwegian Wood’ by Bono.
I purchased the ETS General Admission package for etstours.com for the Cleveland show and the Buffalo show the previous night and was lucky enough to scan into the ellipse both nights. I must give praise to ETS for doing an amazing job organizing their events and a shout out the the staff at the Harp in Cleveland that hosted the ETS pre-party. If you ever need GA tickets these are the people to talk to, they do a great job.
Great show and a great night in Cleveland…here are some photos to enjoy.
