The repeated comments refering to Bono being "off" or lacking in strength must have been toward the top of the arena where sound goes to die... (the gund was never great for concerts) Bono was forceful all night.
This was my first Vertigo show, and having seen several Popmart and two great Elevation shows, this was one of the best I've been to.
(and Kudos to U2 for always bringing a quality opener)
The setlist was a good mix of old and new... City of Blinding Lights surpriesd me for it's power live, as well as Original of the Species... I have new respect for those tunes now! Missed New Years Day, would have gaven a testicle to hear Bad rather than Mysterious Ways (again)...
Loved that the activist message was still there, and that alot of the crowd actually GOT what Bono meant when he said Sunday Bloody Sunday was "your song now". Gloria was amazing... Ms. Sarajavo beautiful... and Bono's guitar was ACTUALLY AUDIBLE!
Bad would have made this the top U2 show I've seen! (Elevation in Vegas has to top is VERY slightly)
Loved the light curtains...
Hoping for another US leg this summer... praying... dreaming...
See you in '08!
