This was show #39 for me and tomorrow night will make it an even 40 shows spanning every single tour to date. The set list was a great shake up- to hear The Ocean agan was awesome, the tingling feeling of hearing Miss Sarajevo as Bono nailed Luciano's parts, Yahweh so early in the set was surprising, The Fly was just rocking. Bono forgetting the lyrics to Walk on was classic and having to get the lyric sheet frm off stage and then to funble thru the sheets of paper looking for the right song to which he then recited the lyrics off the sheet was just somthing that I have never seen.
I got to see Bono and the Edge before hand as they pulled into the stadium, Edge came right up to me and I asked if he would sign a picture I had with me of my son from his 1st birthday a few weeks ago - Edge asked what his anem was and I responded Gabriel, he said "I love the name Gabriel" and then signed the picture and drew a cartoon bubble from his mouth and wrote HELLO HELLO. I asked him how Sian was doind and he said - "she is doing great, thank you so much for asking" and then gave a me a wink and a smile, it seemed make him very happy that I asked about her.
