My first U2 show since Joshua Tree and wow, what a performance, its amazing what 4 guys can do to get the house rocking; however, unlike the true die hards posting here, I was not completely knocked over dead by the show. I was disappointed to not hear Crumbs and Origin of the Species. The first time I listened to Origin at top volume mad me realize how good that song would be live. Instead, got Zooropa....ugghg. And the only song from Joshua Tree that I hate... Bullet..heard that too...uggghg.
The United Center is no joy for sound and the sound quality was terrible. Also, the effort that the sound people put together for the opening act Dashboard was so lousy that people actually left their seats for the concession area to get away from it.
Overall, a great performance, but I wanted more for my $165 face tickets.
