Good concert last night although the sound at Wembley was pretty poor. There was a massive echo all night on the vocal, and I'm afraid the sound just wasn't loud enough. That is pretty par for the course these days
for London outdoor concerts due to 'noise polution' concerns. U2 themselves I thought were really up for it though and all the new songs came over well. Personal highlight for me was Unforgettable Fire and the lights were amazing. Crowd really got behind the band and London does seem to inspire U2 who seemed to really enjoy the night.
Please U2 drop pride, sbs, and even streets as they sound a bit tired these days, and how about something off Pop, Zooropa, Boy or October instead?
All in all a good concert but let down somewhat by the sound I thought. Hope it's better tonight as taking my 10 year old son for his first U2 experience
