Maple Leaf Gardens was a historic hockey arena located in downtown Toronto. Home of the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs from 1931 to 1999, the building known as "the Church of Hockey" has been preserved as a shopping center with a small hockey arena on the third level beneath MLG's famous roof. Ryerson University's Rams have used the Gardens' Mattamy Athletic Centre as their home rink since 2012.
