The Rose Bowl opened in 1922. It is the home of college football's University of California at Los Angeles Bruins and the annual Rose Bowl game. One of the nation's most celebrated stadiums, it hosted the Bowl Championship Series championship games in 2002, 2006, 2010, and 2014, the National Football League's Super Bowl in 1977, 1980, 1983, 1987, and 1993, and the 1994 World Cup Final.
