Bono and The Edge performed two songs for a Christmas special broadcast of The Late Late Show. Inspired by the annual Christmas Eve busking performances on Dublin's Grafton Street, a number of performers appeared on the show to raise money for Ireland's homeless population while also raising awareness for Covid-19 relief efforts. The pair were joined by fellow musicians Glen Hansard, Philip Powell, Vivienne Long, and the Heyday Choir to cover Darlene Love's "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)," which the band covered in 1987. Afterwards, Bono and The Edge performed an acoustic rendition of "Walk On."
