Comments: The third show of the European leg continues at the Lanxess Arena, and a relief to band, management, friends, family and fans alike following the mid-cancellation of the second night at the Berlin Mercedes-Benz Arena, when Bono's voice faltered after just five songs.

Earlier in the day fans outside the venue hear the band rehearse The Unforgettable Fire. The concert starts on schedule, with the band and, in particular, Bono in fine form, singing confidently and betraying no signs of concern of what was a very stressful episode just 72 hours prior.

The band play the same first half as they did with the opening night in Berlin, and during Beautiful Day, Bono shouts out to Reggie Manuel, childhood friend and Lypton Village associate. The first set closes with Until The End Of The World, which celebrates its 600th live performance, before the second half opens with Elevation, Bono clearly in delight as he performs.

This goodwill continues, and when MacPhisto makes his appearance, he cannot resist referring to "my old friend Boh-noh's lost his voice in Berlin", prior to a blistering Acrobat. The remainder of the show follows the same set as first night in Berlin.
