U2's show on the airfield in Wiener Neustadt was their second concert in Austria after ZOO TV in 1992.
The Austrian support act "Paradise Now" made a good performance, and I'm sure that this band will make their way.
After reading about bad ticket sales in Germany I was proud that at least the Austrians still know that U2 is the best act in the whole world. A 73.000 strong crowd made this concert the biggest of the year and one of the biggest in Austrian tour history. There is always the rumor that the people in the German-speaking area are more reserved, but this time they proofed that they also know how to rock. Especially the old tunes but also newer stuff like Discotheque made the people dance and sing along.
After the 20th anniversary of Elvis' dead Edge sang a karaoke of Suspicious minds and in the end after a wonderfull concert. U2 sang with the whole crowd Can't help falling in love.
