This was the first U2 concert I attended with my soon-to-be wife. We flew in from Houston a few nights before and spent time before the show touring the city. It seemed like everywhere you went, you heard U2--from the hotels to the pubs to the buskers on Grafton Street and Temple Bar. We chatted with people from all over Europe who, like us, flew in to see the concert.
As for the show itself, I can only say it was electric. My wife and I saw the 360 show four times, and we both agree this was probably the most special for us. We were a few rows back from the catwalk, and we had great views of the band. They seemed loose and happy. Highlights included "Unforgettable Fire," "Bad," and "Ultraviolet." I especially liked hearing Bono, Edge, and bunch of Irishmen and women sing "The Auld Triangle." They won't play a song like that anywhere else in the world.
