To sum up this show in one word it would be AWESOME!!! This was my fifth and final show of the tour and it was definitely the best. I left the DDC wanting to see more shows, but time and money prevent me from doing that. Never the less I still have the memories of this tour and all the great moments that I was able to see. Tonight was a special night because of Larry's birthday. The whole night felt like a celebration as opposed to the night before which was also a great show but felt more like a tribute to Sept. 11. The cake and champagne for Larry was an excellent touch and allowing the crowd to sing happy birthday to him twice let us really feel a part of the celebration. I also loved it when Larry said I feel like I know you well enough to borrow money from you and Bono replied you did, their just not getting it back. That shows you how down to earth these guys are. The highlight of the night was Party Girl which I was hoping to see in every show I went to and finally got it on the last one. Hearing Wild Honey for the second time was special as well. Slow Dancing was also a special treat. The thing I was most excited about was the way the Providence crowd treated the band and provided them with the energy they love to feed off of on both nights. Having them in my home state was something I was really looking forward to and I was praying the crowd would respond to the band the way true U2 fans should and they did even to the amazement of the band at times. I really got the feeling that the band enjoyed the two shows here and hopefully they come back here on the next tour. Now I just have to wait for the next album which Bono said they're going to get to work on shortly. We may not see them on tour for a couple of years though if I understood him correctly. Either way I can't wait for the next tour and album. Hope they keep it an arena tour again, this was so much fun. I hope to see them at The Dunk in Providence next tour as well. Thanks to U2 for making this a memorable and enjoyable summer/fall.
