Just a great show. Thanks to all those on U2s crew who work so hard to put it all together. The widely distributed pics from the show do not do it justice, it looks, sounds and even feels amazing. Hey, Willie, you have to tap into the LED screens a la Chicago at all the venues this fall, come on you had a whole day off to get it done (just kidding).
Crowd was a little slow to get going but the boys pulled them in and had everyone rocking, even the pretentious fur coat lady in the luxury box behind me. The stamina U2 has amazes me, one night of jumping around to this fanatastic show and I was wrecked.
The random song selection for the encore made the show for it reminds me of what a rock show is supposed to be like. For me Out of Control was an all time high for the many times I have seen U2 I had yet to hear that one. And the imperfection, Edge had to stop and start again, just makes the show fun.
A little note to those who have beat up HTDAAB, especially the lyric, "Freedom has a scent, like the top of newborn baby's head", one can't understand that lyric until you have children of your own I am convinced...
