Comments: U2 plays its last of eight shows in Canada this year. Before the show starts, fans spot Dave Grohl and other members of the Foo Fighters at the show, as well as Jared Leto hanging out in the Red Zone with U2's manager, Guy Oseary. (Bono namechecks Grohl during "Beautiful Day.")

For reasons unknown, Edge doesn't go inside the video screen during "Until The End Of The World," so the set piece with Bono appearing to hold Edge and spit water on him doesn't happen.

During "Mysterious Ways," Bono brings a fan named Stephanie on stage. She stays on the E-Stage to play guitar on not one, but the next two songs -- "Angel Of Harlem" and "All I Want Is You" -- and does a marvelous job, playing through to the very end as Bono improvises a snippet of Van Morrison's "Into The Mystic." "All I Want Is You" is a bit of a surprise because it's on the printed setlist as happening after "Beautiful Day," not this early in the show.

"The Crystal Ballroom" is on the printed setlist and was planned to be played after the impromptu "All I Want Is You," but Edge has guitar difficulties and the band has to skip it. Another female fan is already on stage to do the Meerkat video, so she stays and does that during "Every Breaking Wave."

Fans hold up signs saying "Shine Like Stars" as the band plays "With Or Without You," a nod to the famous coda that Bono first sang on The Joshua Tree tour and made famous with its inclusion in Rattle And Hum. It's always been high on fans' wish list and Bono sings it for the first time on this tour, causing an audible rise in the venue and all kinds of excitement among fans following the show online.

Before "One," Bono announces that Shimon Peres, the former President of Israel, is at the show, and expresses his support of the two-state solution to the Israeli-Paletine conflict. Bono dedicates the song to Peres and asks the audience to sing along "for two ancient peoples."
