Mocking Bono from Under A Blood Red Sky, Adam introduces "Trying To Throw Arms Around The World" as "This is not a rebel song, this is Trying To Throw Your Arms Around The World."
Later, during "Bullet The Blue Sky," Bono references the the Evan Mecham controversy that the band experienced in Arizona back in 1987 on the Joshua Tree tour, by saying "It's over Mecham!" Mecham was impeached in 1988.
During "With Or Without You," Bono changes the Shine like stars lyrics to:
We'll shine like stars in the desert night
U2 make it a short night by omitting "Desire" and "Ultraviolet (Light My Way)."
