During a ten-day visit to Africa, Bono spends one evening at a club in Maputo called Mafalala Libre. As one observer explained it, several local musicians got up on stage to sing and show off for Bono. One musician, Xavier Machiana, starts to do a cover of "With Or Without You," which prompts Bono to get out of his seat and join in the performance.
