Comments:

U2 plays the second of two nights and their 22nd overall career show in Philadelphia.

Similar to other night two shows that had a large number of tickets go unsold, a very large section of the upper level of the arena (perhaps the largest so far this tour) is blocked off with curtains behind the stage.

Tonight’s “Beautiful Day” name-check is “…Kristine Stone right in front of you,” from SiriusXM. “Beautiful Day” also features a rare snippet of “Drowning Man.”

Mr. MacPhisto brings it again tonight, after being a little dialed back for the last couple shows, by mentioning the Philadelphia Eagles rescinded invitation to visit the White House.

During his talk to Ali before “You’re The Best Thing About Me,” Bono mentions that the U2 crew has been doing some sightseeing around town and that Adam jogged up the Rocky steps today.
