Comments:

A second night of heavy traffic delays pushes the start of the show back even later than last night's show. Tonight, the show begins at about 8:55 p.m. -- the latest start of the tour so far, and about 25 minutes later than the band's normal start.

Lady Gaga gets the "Beautiful Day" shoutout tonight. She's at the show with Bradley Cooper.

"All Because Of You" is back in the set after a six-show break; it hadn't been played since May 7 in San Jose. Its inclusion also puts an end to a run of five straight shows in which "Gloria" had been played.

Although the set list doesn't allow for much variation, Bono breaks things up a bit by snippeting a couple songs for the first time: Soundgarden's "Black Hole Sun" (in "Beautiful Day") and Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell" (during "Vertigo"). Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell's death was just about a year ago (May 18, 2017) and Bono gives his family a shoutout after the song. It's also possible that Idol is at the show, prompting that snippet.

After the encore break, Bono tells the crowd that Madison Ryann Ward -- the singer whose voice is heard on "Women Of The World" -- is at the show. He invites the audience to visit U2.com and submit a recording of themselves singing the song for possible use in future shows. Bono dedicates "Love Is Bigger Than Anything In Its Way" ... "and the whole show, actually" ... to Smasher and Allison and says they're both leaving the tour after tonight's show "for each other." "Smasher" is Stefaan Desmedt, the band's longtime video consultant.

As you'd expect, there are a host of other celebrities in attendance, including Brad Pitt, Sean Penn, Juliette Lewis, Roma Downey, Rami Malek, Tom Morello, Brad Wilk, Seal, David Spade and Jon Lovitz. Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino is also at the show.
