With New York City under a heat advisory, Bono makes several references to the weather during the show -- including singing a bit of The Lovin' Spoonful's "Summer In The City" right after the band finishes "I Will Follow." (It's the first time U2 has ever snippeted that song.)
"October" is played for the second straight night (after its 25+ year absence), and Bono dedicates it to the husband-wife team of Mark Kelly and Gabby Giffords, both of whom are also at the show. (Kelly played a role on the 360 tour as the astronaut whose video helped introduce "Beautiful Day" during many shows in 2011.)
After "Beautiful Day," Bono tells Larry and the others that he wants to do "Bad."
