Fresh off its club gig at The Roxy two nights ago, U2 pulls in two songs from that performance and includes them in tonight's show -- but not two of U2's early tunes. In the second set, U2 plays "Elevation" and "Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of" for the first time on the I+E tour. Both are played out on the e-stage; "Elevation" includes a fan on stage to do the Meerkat video segment, while "Stuck" has Edge playing piano. Bono continues to pay respects to the late Dennis Sheehan, mentioning him by name several times during the show.
Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers is at the show, prompting a snippet of "Give It Away" early in the show. Coldplay's Chris Martin is reportedly there, too, along with Eddie Vedder, Gwen Stefani, Lionel Richie, George Clooney and wife Amal, Cindy Crawford, Beck, Gavin Rossdale and several other celebrities.
