Comments: The first leg of the Vertigo Tour opens with a bang in San Diego. The band digs deep into their back catalogue and plays "The Electic Co." for the first time since August 3, 1987 and "An Cat Dubh" and "Into the Heart" for the first time since September 24, 1984. After "Running to Stand Still" the big screen plays a pre-recorded video of a woman reciting part of the Declaration of Human Rights. The show ended with the band playing "40" and each member leaving individually while the others continued playing, with Larry the last to leave.
